What started as a simple chat with a corper in the office turned into something BIG. She mentioned her CDS was ICT, and of course, my techie brain lit up. I asked if I could speak to their group about the importance of tech and life after NYSC.
Fast-forward a few weeks (and plenty of follow-ups), the day was finally set. I was told to expect 70 corpers… 70! I thought it would be 20 max, but hey! the more the merrier, right?
So, with my amazing Girls in Tech Initiative Bayelsa team, we showed up ready. We had real conversations on how technology can shape their careers, life after service, and why learning a tech skill isn’t just an option anymore but a superpower.
The Questions & Answers were hot! fears, confusion, curiosity, and those spark moments that made the whole session worth it.

Impacting lives differently and deliberately will always be a thrill to me. This was more than a talk, it was purpose in action.
