I am deeply honoured to have been inducted into the Niger Delta Gender Champions Hall of Fame as a Gender Champion by the Dise Ogbise Foundation in collaboration with the Bayelsa State Ministry of Education on October 9, 2026.
This recognition is a meaningful milestone in my journey and a reminder of the importance of advocating for gender equality, girls’ empowerment, and inclusive opportunities in technology and innovation.
Through Girls in Tech Initiative Bayelsa, I have remained committed to equipping girls and young women with the digital skills, knowledge, confidence, and opportunities they need to explore their potential and thrive in the digital world. I strongly believe that every girl deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, innovate, and contribute meaningfully to society, regardless of her background or circumstances.

Receiving this honour goes beyond personal achievement. It represents the collective efforts of everyone who believes in our vision, supports our mission, and works tirelessly to create a future where girls and women have equal opportunities to succeed. I am grateful to the Dise Ogbise Foundation and the Bayelsa State Ministry of Education for this recognition and for their commitment to advancing gender equality.
This honour further inspires me to continue advocating for inclusive development, expanding access to digital education, and creating more opportunities for girls and young women across Bayelsa State and the Niger Delta.
I dedicate this recognition to every girl whose dreams we are nurturing, every young woman breaking barriers, and everyone contributing to a more inclusive society.
One girl at a time, we are building a future where every girl has the opportunity to thrive.
